Yin Yoga
RELAX*CALM*RESTORE
Yin Yoga uses long, passive holds to open the deep connective tissues of the body;
it's a tonic for your fascia, ligaments, and bones! Postures are typically practiced
on the earth and held for 3-5 minutes with optional props to support your body.
This relaxing/langhana style of yoga enables you to slow down and experience
a connection with body, mind, and spirit. As a result, you relieve stress and gain access into the vast reservoir of vital energy within us all. Yin Yoga is suitable for both new and established yoga practitioners and serves as a great complement to dance and
other active/brahmana movement practices.
Open to all levels, modifications and substitutions for common issues provided.
Recommended props for on-demand classes: a quiet and sacred space to practice uninterrupted, yoga mat, yoga blocks, bolster, and a yoga strap. Household items such as pillows and towels will work just fine.
New on-demand classes are sent out each week to my mailing list; enjoy taking
a class when it's convenient for you anytime and anywhere!

Yoga Nidra and iRest
REST*RENEW*AWAKEN
Yoga Nidra is often described as the art and science of "Yogic Sleep." While resting in a comfortable position (e.g. savasana or seated in a chair), you will be guided through a detailed meditation that allows your body and mind to slip into your authentic state of being. You simultaneously experience deep relaxation and tranquility while being aware and fully conscious. This extremely healing practice helps you meet and greet life fully. iRest is an evidence-based and trauma informed contemporary form of Yoga Nidra.
Recommended props: For live-stream classes, a quiet and sacred space to practice uninterrupted. Depending on how you like to practice yoga nidra, you may also want a comfortable chair (for a seated practice) or a yoga mat or couch (if you prefer to practice lying down). You may also want an eye pillow or a washcloth if you want to close your eyes.
